NETBALL COURT INSTALLATION

All Courts can be highly recommended for a number of reasons if you are looking to install high quality netball courts as part of your curriculum or commercial offer. At Coombe Wood School we were fortunate enough to have an area of space suitable for two floodlit courts but it was not without complications which All Courts were able to support with. A planning application to the Council was successful using the elevation drawings and specification provided. This was also crucial in creating a meaningful application to the London Marathon Charitable Trust (LMCT) for funding. Together with statistics regarding waiting lists in the local area, the outdoor netball project became a credible investment project. All Courts surveyed the proposed area giving helpful advice and adjusting their quotation where possible to ensure the site and situation of the courts was deliverable. They helped us understand the need for retaining walls, drainage and security which would in turn help ensure the courts were safe and secure for not only the children who attended the school but also for the local community. Advising on the right surface to maximise play during inclement weather, our courts have been praised by visiting school teams and local netball clubs saying that the playing surface is not slippery and dangerous even when the weather was cold and wet. Having a short time window to deliver the courts and working on a small area within the school site, the All Courts construction team worked well with the school site team. All earthworks were completed in a timely manner and the waste material largely lost on site creating additional landscaping features which were later turfed and turned into more attractive features. This helped reduce cost. The courts are now 6 months old and still look brand new. The LED floodlights are effective while not disturbing local residents during more unsociable hours. The line markings are still fresh and the fitted posts and bespoke protectors mean that the children and local community enjoy professional looking courts which we hope will inspire then to play netball and stay active long into their senior years.
